wow. resurrected outlaw sound. pushing air through speakers now. calling all the freaks and geeks now. how are we resigned to this defeat now? fuck that we play forbidden beat now. like a sonic non-retreat now. from this plague this fear of music. the fear of what’s too loud. compress the sound. grid the life out until all that’s left is: 1. world fucking flat 2. forced group think 3. double speak
2.
sonic shock value tactics designed to scare. pull up a stool I’ve got a lot more to share. shut off your phone and trace the dots link to link. they want you sedated they don’t want you to think. sleeping at the wheel while one hands tickles your brain. the other in your pocket but you don’t feel a thing. it’s just like they do music. because they drill it down. smooth it out. compute what you’ll like and print it all out. until everything sounds the same. watered down. until we all think the same. drown it out.
3.
go on clutch your pearls. oh I do declare. here’s the fucks I give for your feigned outrage. when the robots come to take your job away, you’ll get what you asked for. let’s pump the breaks a minute. stop the hot takes a minute. a softer way to spin it: just like a laser disc > replaced by vhs > replaced by DVD > replaced by blu ray disc > replaced by nothing at all. the proletariat are more expensive slower and harder to upkeep than a machine. womp womp. what’s fucking funny is that everyone’s surprised somebody sold all their data to the right wing/republican/russian trolls. here’s the world’s smallest violin playing for your shame. excuse the tears I’ve never laughed so fucking hard.
4.
you make a platform designed for ranking girls, install a fascist government and fuck up the world by monetizing millions of micro transactions, mining the minutiae and selling it off. and i can’t shake the feeling that we’ve lost collective feeling, in this digital skin- peeling, all the shit that we project. i bring it back to sound: everything lost in translation comes at great cost. fear of guitars is fear of flesh and blood and sound.

Frontierland 00:49
we interrupt this program for a breaking update. there’s been another high school shooting in the sunshine state. United States of thoughts and prayers are fine. actually they’re not fine how bout sensible gun reform motherfuck-ers it’s just like the shooting gallery in downtown disneyworld. but you don’t get to walk away with stuffed mickeys. in fact you don’t walk at all. because it’s more important for white trash to buy military- grade weapons than to keep kids safe in class. night. hashtag blessed.
6.
now that we’re numb to disenfranchised classes, “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses” has an ironic ring to it. because lady liberty is singing- she’s changed her tune but she’s singing- “get the fuck out baby. I don’t want you.”
7.
last night i dreamt you called from costa rica. a place with universal healthcare. but for some reason we need to build a wall to keep our neighbors from the south from spoiling all the fun. i think i got this tendency- I want you to have less than me. god damn it’s so american. can’t put down the phone I gotta be connected disconnect in life I wish that I was killing time. cognitive dissonance oh hi! hold up. how can I hold opposing thoughts in one brain? wait that’s the point of america. a place we stole from the indigenous. an empire built by slaves.
8.
hold on. hold on. it’s like we camped out on somebody’s lawn and broke into their house. call the HOA to keep out the riff raff. par for the course in this disney shitshow bingo country club. america is singing “get the fuck out baby. I don’t want you.”
9.
god's got a bad case of the dunning-krugers. did you really think that I would leave out god? the guy in whose name we get to write off: 1. genocide
2. manifest destiny
3. slavery
4. toppling democratically elected governments who don’t bend the knee?
10.
Team America 00:40
U.S. impunity = infallible absurdity I think it all comes back to god. Because we get to claim the high ground. And be the fucking world police. And commit crimes in our backyard.
11.
god seems to be pretty pleased with his resume, but I find the product he’s turned out to be lacking. seems to me most of the great crimes in our history have been justified with claims of his blessing. not that the two are mutually exclusive exclusive but there’s commonality.
there’s certainly venn overlapping (bang your head because this beat is slappin). my point is I don’t see a distinction between what we call a cult and a religion. one gets stigma, one gets presumption of righteousness and tax exemption. doublethink. sermon wink. Tom Cruise blinks. church newspeak.
12.
we traded in our compassion for fashion and aesthetic. we traded in our guitars, our shitty piss smelling bars for battery-powered cars, symmetry houses and yards. I’m on the nose but my aesthetic is pathetic. I’m not drunk, you’re just making me angry. remember we were gonna change the world? we said that we were gonna change the world. what if I still want to change the world? please stand by for further details. we return you now to your scheduled programming...
13.
...which is patriarchy. specifically white patriarch plutocracy. as income inequality increases so does the sway of the elite. masters of the universe who write the story and we’re just scenery. kicking/climbing/clawing/consu-u-ming/collectively dreaming of electric sheep
14.
mortgage set and you’re buried in debt aren’t you? student loans are burning a hole in your pants. and you sense your expenses are building up like tectonic converging plates that you can’t climb. this is fine. the baby boomers sold off our future. they’ll be the final generation to retire. and we’re tired. already tired. dip a little bit into your credit cards each month ah fuck it. this is a garbage fire. this is fine. but nothing’s fine. think of all you’ve lost, the cost just to get back.
to get the ledger black. decades piling up like bricks strapped to your back. and this where we’re at: renting money from guys with money to make some money to pay back the money. and if you’re unlucky, you’ll make 80 cents on the buck.
15.
hold up- I stand up when I pee, and for this she’s paid less than me. what the fuck. that’s so american. and for some reason men should have a say in women’s reproductive rights? you’ve got to be kidding me. you’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
16.
should it be any surprise then? a generation who don’t understand consent.
we institutionalize apathy toward the systemic subjugation of the fairer sex this is horse shit. want to hear more shit? until nineteen hundred twenty only white men could vote in this fucked country.
it’s been almost a century but some people still believe the government should regulate women’s bodies.
17.
old man yells at cloud. I get it. but I can’t buy in to *shrug* aesthetic.
not when I’ve got so much to say. and I mean “say” as in “project with my lungs” feel the heat of my breath across my tongue now. not text. not tweet. not “like.” not data. not groupthink. no camera in my head. no censoring what’s in my head. I want to breathe in another human’s breath. feel the electricity burst in my chest. when an idea generated by a human voice sets a fire to my brain. riot ransack my brain. alive. in my mind. protecting the asymmetric quality. still free. from decline. the hive mind. thought compression. my obsession? non binary. I stand free.
18.
let me take this opportunity to publicly reject the shackles of this fucked up fantasy. what is liberty? I pledge allegiance to myself, to truth, to compassion, to the welfare of those who have less than me, the poor, the oppressed, those forced to pre-tend, all my friends, the dead-ends, who’ve been told: 1. what they’re supposed to be 2. who they’re allowed to be
 3. who they can love I reject this united states of thoughts and prayers.
19.
and now we debate if black men have the right not to be murdered on the street in daylight can’t let them protest when so much is at stake: a country where the whitest folks catch the breaks.
20.
we hold these obscene world views despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. that’s the relevant conundrum in this fucking echo tank. like social media: we mute ideas which question our beliefs. selective American Fail.

Absolution 00:44
22.
wow. resurrected outlaw sound. fuck your fear of guitars now. an anthem for the freaks and geeks now. I’m on my way back into town riding on a pale horse now. to burn this fucker down.
